Web Sites

  • Better Byte Software provides a freeware utility for repairing Paradox tables.

  • Dan Paolini, one of the original leaders in the Paradox community, has posted his Paradox Conference papers and utilities.

  • Diamond Software Group provides a number of Paradox/DOS and Paradox for Windows related downloads. Some Interesting Stuff.

  • Douglas Horn wrote several articles for the now defunct Paradox Informant magazine; a few of his articles are archived on his site.

  • Frédéric Brouard has a collection of Paradox related-articles in French. They can be translated using Babelfish, with varying amounts of work.

  • Joerg Eisentraeger has a collection of solutions for WordPerfect suite products including Paradox & Co. The site is in German.

  • Kasey Chang has an excellent article describing various ways to improve the performance of your Paradox applications.

  • Kennedy Software is the home of LesSpace, a utility for Paradox/DOS that helps you live with problems related to large hard drives. Also features some interesting discussions on Y2K related issues and their solutions.

  • Micro-Phyla Systems offers several interesting downloads for Paradox, BDE, JBuilder, and related applications.

  • Mike Irwin maintains the Paradox FAQ's and has a nice collection of tips, articles, and other useful tidbits.

  • PARADOX desde España is a Spanish site containing Paradox resources.

  • Paradoxgruppen (Swedish) contains a Paradox bug list, various downloads, and Paradox-related links.

  • Pascal Hutton's Free Paradox Tips -- Collects a number of interesting and useful tricks involving the windows API. The interface takes a little getting used to, but is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it.

  • Randy Beck has attempted to document the Paradox file format. Use this information with care, for it is completely unsupported and may not be entirely accurate. Caveat emptor.

  • RDA's Paradox Resources Pages -- Provides a different interface for Paradox Resource Listings, as well as a collection of different support articles (including database design articles).

  • ZDNet's SoftSeek provides a number of related downloads.

  • Vladimir Menkin's home page offers an impressive set of add-ins and some very useful articles.

  • VS Systems provides a newsletter collecting a variety of Paradox and Access tips, tricks, and techniques.

  • WinSite offers two directories of Paradox for Windows related files. Their Win3 section contains the most material, including the now-legendary Paradox Papers by Dan Ehrmann, but their Win95 section also contains a few interesting tidbits.

  • WordPerfect Universe offers a list of Paradox links, though some are out of date.
